Why are routines important?

Thoughts for kids…

This week’s post is for kids. As we collaborate to help our children create healthy behavior patterns, we need to include the kids, themselves, in the process. They need to have buy-in for any real changes to occur.

So, kids, let’s get started by having you watch a video. Listen to the story, ‘Good Morning, Superman’ by Michael Dahl and think about some routines you could build into your day.

Let’s spend some more time thinking about routines. Help these children turn their bad day into a good day by creating some positive routines. What could they have done differently to create better results for themselves?
